Despite the best efforts of my wife and her X Factor addiction I did manage to catch some sport this weekend.
For a change I found myself watching snooker, not my sport of choice I must admit, but over the last month I have got to know Ronnnie O'Sullivan who has been attending one of my distance running conditioning sessions at Fit 4 Personal Training Centre.
Away from the green baize Ronnie is a keen and enthusiastic distance runner and has been a really good addition to the group who are mainly members of Woodford Green Athletics Club, a club I was a member of myself over 20 years ago.
He fought back against John Higgins in the UK championships at the semi final stage only to narrowly miss out on the Final.
I look forward to seeing him at out next session, where i know as in everything Ronnie does 100% will be given
